My daddy always told me I could do anything I put my mind to. He didn’t mean this, though.
As you may know, Herald Sports Reporter Randy Quis and I took the Andy’s Big A Challenge today. It came down to the wire, but I finished my last bite with under three seconds to spare.
Randy didn’t make it, but he fought valiantly and I am proud to call him my burger brother.
I did something terrible last night. In preparing for the Andy’s Challenge — 50 ounces of beef — I ate Huevos con Chorizo at San Felipe last night, a dish that had me on the couch most of the night so I could be close to the bathroom.
But being the trooper that I am, I am going to persevere. I will take down that evil cheeseburger if it kills me. Come to Andy’s at 3 p.m. to see me and Randy battle.
So as I prepare, I’ll leave you with this — the worst song ever, and it is stuck in my head for some reason.
